One of the major things about the last days that we live
in is that it is the ‘Information Age’. The age where
people simply look to Google and other internet-based
apps for answers to major questions in their lives. It is also the age
in which the drive for success is seemingly unparalleled. Everyone
wants to succeed and there is a general feeling that everyone can
indeed succeed because of the abundance of information available
to us through the internet and social media.
The “almighty” internet is, for many, the remedy for all things.
This has led to even Christians increasingly moving away from
seeking God for answers because their phones and computers
seem to have it all. Hence, in general, we see the masses moving
further and further away from God and His Word for solutions
to the social ills of our societies and the major things that hinder
us from succeeding in life.
